Training Description

Reactivity behaviors demonstrated by System Involved Youth can be an auto-response result from not knowing how to organize an emotional experience.   Learn techniques to guide System Involved Youth to respond versus react to emotional energy.  Gain awareness of how to identify the root cause of “acting out”, challenging or combative behaviors.  Explore a somatic approach to expressing emotional energy and integrating the emotional experience to promote behaviors in alignment with true wants and needs. Learn to support System Involved Youth to decipher emotional experiences as they occur in the physical body to build a sense of self trust in navigating emotional experiences.
