Every day, students across California return to school carrying more than just backpacks — many are also navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and emotional or developmental disabilities. Fred Finch Youth & Family Services provides compassionate, school-based support to ensure these students are not alone.

Our school-based services — including certified non-public schools in Oakland and San Diego — offer tailored special education services for students with complex needs. We also partner with public schools to deliver on-campus mental health care, IEP coordination, and trauma-informed learning supports that help students build coping skills, improve attendance, and thrive academically.
