As we continue taking necessary precautions as an agency to ensure the health and safety of our residents, participants, staff, and community partners, we recognize the tremendous impact the COVID-19 emergency has had on the vulnerable populations we serve throughout the state. We are continuing our commitment to ensure our youth and families have access to necessary critical services while implementing procedures to ensure everyone’s health and safety is maintained. To that end, as an ‘essential service’ Fred Finch will continue to operate our program and support (administrative) services during the multi-county Shelter in Place order.
More specifically, during this time of crisis we are applying innovative treatment options moving many services usually conducted in offices or schools to family homes or via telehealth. For our onsite programs, we are limiting visitor access and requesting all individuals experiencing cold or flu like symptoms to refrain from entering our offices or residential facilities. We are following all CDC recommended guidelines and are monitoring the situation daily in an effort to provide updated communications and recommendations to continue to ensure the health and safety of our community to the best of our ability.
Your support and understanding is appreciated during these trying times. As a trauma-informed agency, we recognize the significance of these events and encourage everyone to please take care of themselves and those close to them. Please be mindful of how this time of social distancing can feel isolating to some who are struggling with uncertainty, and join us in continuing to foster our social connections safely, through virtual and new means of communication. We will continue to make every effort to provide updates and information regarding our services available in a timely manner.
