Training Description
This training will offer simple practices from qigong, mindfulness meditation, and psychology which can be utilized to support wellbeing for system involved youth and those that support them. Using these techniques regularly can increase our day-to-day resiliency, as well as enhance capacity to cope. These strategies can be useful for providers to prevent negative impacts of compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma and can also be easily taught to foster or system involved youth and/or their caregivers.
