Training Description

It can be hard to understand racism, discrimination, and social injustices if you haven’t lived it. This training will help providers better understand what it is like to live in a society where racism is still prevalent in communities, institutions and corporations. A deeper understanding of the experiences of racism many foster youth and families face and it will equip you to use your privilege to create a better world.

Learning Objective

  • Participants will be able to describe internalized racism

  • Participants will be able to describe one way youth experience racism in the school system.
