About the Event

Training Description

If you could start from scratch, how would you create youth and family services? This interactive workshop will encourage participants to explore wellness values including those specific to different communities and cultures. It will then look at those values in comparison to how systems are providing services and see where values are aligned and in conflict. Provide information that could enhance the capabilities of agencies that provide services to  youth and families including; prepare youth for reintegration into communities and assist individuals and communities by delivering inclusive community-based options and other broad-based services.

Learning Objectives

  • Compare current practices in youth services with wellness values

  • Construct action plans that support emotional balance and  healing for  youth across different communities/cultures
