Training Description

Dissociation is common amongst individuals who’ve experienced trauma, particularly amongst those with the freeze trauma response. This training will provide an overview of dissociation and trauma. Participants will learn strategies to assist system-involved youth and young adults who dissociate.


Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be able to explain at least 1 key relationship between dissociation and trauma.

  • Participants will be able to identify at least 1 sign that a system-involved youth/young adult is dissociating.
