Training Description
This training equips frontline professionals, caregivers, and system partners with trauma-informed strategies to support system-involved youth (SIY) experiencing memory and clarity challenges. Participants will learn how trauma affects brain functioning, behavior, and executive skills, and practice practical approaches such as clear communication, structured environments, and relational regulation. Through case examples, role-plays, and applied tools, the training emphasizes building resilience, empathy, and supportive routines that foster trust and consistency. The goal is to strengthen participants’ capacity to respond with patience and effectiveness, creating environments where SIY can thrive despite cognitive and emotional disruptions.
