Training Description

Given the importance of working with parents and caregivers of system-involved youth, this training will discuss best practices in working with them. Specially, we’ll focus on best practices for partnering with parents and caregivers. The training will also provide an overview of strategies to educate and support parents and caregivers supporting system-involved youth in their parenting in a nonjudgmental manner.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

·        Identify and apply at least 1 strategy to support parents/caregivers of system-involved youth to be more effective and lead to better outcomes.
