Training Description
When youth enter systems like child welfare and juvenile justice systems they come in contact with multiple professionals trying to help them. The successful outcomes of system involving youth rely heavily on the impact that professionals have as they work with the youth. It takes a “village” of professionals to support these youth and their ability to work effectively in collaboration is essential. This training will provide you with skills and strategies to effectively build relationships with system partners in a way that feels healthy, supportive and productive.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will be able to identify 3 challenges of cross system engagement and collaboration
- Participants will be able to explain the importance of collaboration across system partners for system involved youth success.
- Participants will apply one new strategies when building relationships with professionals involved in the lives of system involved youth
