Training Description
This training will provide an overview of how Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies can help support system-involved youth facing addiction challenges. Participants will gain an understanding of DBT's core principles—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—and learn how these skills can be tailored to address the unique needs of youth with substance use disorders. The training will also explore strategies for integrating DBT into existing frameworks, enhancing the effectiveness of support for adolescents dealing with addiction.

Participants will be able to identify 4 skills modules of DBT help support system-involved youth.
