Training Description

Foster care and juvenile justice involved youth may experience factors that increase their vulnerability to commercial sexual exploitation. This training will provide an overview of CSEC in the United States and its relevance to system-involved youth (SIY). Participants will learn about CSEC risk factors, pathways to entry, the impact of CSEC on SIY’s safety and well-being, and CSEC identifying factors and CSEC needs.

• Explain at least two forms of commercial sexual exploitation of children.

• Explain three CSEC risk factors for system-involved youth.
