Training Description

One of the most significant challenges for those supporting system involved youth (SIY) with ADHD symptoms is to effectively engage them to increase their ability to be organized, focused and feel a part of the communities they are in so they can be successful in academic and career related activities. In this training, we will explore how to enhance our capacity to support SIY by exploring behavioral approaches that can work within public school systems. We will also explore situational leadership coaching points that can prepare us to foster young people’s transformational behaviors and boost the support needed from school site partners.  Practicing and sharing the methods outlined by this workshop will allow us to improve the practice of how we empower system-involved youth and families.
