Training Description

Given the amount of trauma system-involved youth experience it’s important to consider how traumatic betrayal can be. In this training we will provide an overview of betrayal trauma. We will discuss what it is, how it impacts system-involved youth and what participants can do to support youth who experience betrayal trauma.

Learning Objectives

• Participants will be able to identify and explain at least two types of betrayal trauma.

• Participants will be able to identify at least one way betrayal trauma impacts system-involved youth.
