Supporting System-Involved Youth with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity

Training Description

Many system-involved youth struggle with attention deficit and/or hyperactivity. So, it's important for service/support providers and caregivers to understand these issues in order to best support them. This training will provide an overview of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and how it can present at home and school. The training will also discuss strategies to support system-involved youth with attention deficit and hyperactivity.

Learning Objectives

• Participants will be able to identify at least one characteristic of hyperactivity.

• Participants will be able to identify at least one characteristic of inattention.
