With a growing awareness of autistic youth, it’s important for service and support providers of autistic system-involved youth to learn effective strategies to support them. Autistic youth are prone to wandering, which can come with many safety concerns. Join us as we talk about wandering with autistic youth to learn strategies to prevent it and how to support families of system-involved youth when their child wanders.

Learning Objectives

• Participants will be able to explain at least one  connection between autistic youth and wandering behavior.

• Participants will be able to identify at least one risk factor for wandering in autistic system-involved youth.
