Strategies to Increase Father Engagement with System-Involved Youth

Training Description

The large majority of outreach and engagement with parents involved in the child welfare system has focused on mothers. While mothers play a crucial role in youth development, so do fathers. There is growing awareness of the need to include fathers in care for system-involved youth (SIY). In this training, participants will learn some strategies which have been demonstrated as effective for outreach to and engagement of fathers.
