David Channer, PRESIDENT & CEO
David Channer was named President & CEO of Fred Finch Youth & Family Services in 2026. Prior to this role, he spent more than 20 years at A Better Way, Inc., serving in multiple leadership positions, including President & CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Program Officer, Clinical Director, and Mental Health Program Director.
David began his career working with homeless youth in upstate New York in 1993. In 1997, he earned a Master of Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work. Throughout his career, David has focused on the development and improvement of programs and systems at the intersection of social services and mental health treatment. He is committed to building systemic partnerships that honor families and center the wisdom of lived experience in the delivery of measurable, effective supports.
Greg Kershaw, VICE PRESIDENT
Greg Kershaw is the director of digital and e-commerce marketing at WD-40 Company in San Diego. Greg has experience in helping organizations with strategic planning, branding, media training, marketing communications, content development, video and social media. An alum of San Diego State University where he earned his BA in communications with an emphasis in public relations, Greg is also a graduate of LEAD San Diego’s EMBARK and IMPACT leadership programs and has earned his professional certificate in digital and social media from SDSU’s College of Extended Studies.
David McGrew, TREASURER
David has spent over 30 years in healthcare finance and is currently the CFO at San Mateo Medical Center. His experience spans an integrated healthcare delivery system, large tertiary academic medical centers, public health hospitals, district hospitals and community, non-profit hospitals. He is an Oakland resident and native Californian who received his BA in business/accounting from San Francisco State University and earned his CPA license while at KPMG. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Sandra Dalida, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Sandra Dalida brings over 20 years of leadership experience in finance, administration, and operations, including more than 15 years as Chief Financial Officer for Social Services in Santa Clara County and as Finance & Administration Deputy Director for the Alameda County and San Francisco Probation Departments. She has held high-impact roles at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc., and Apple, Inc., where she managed $8 billion in contracts, procurement, and supply chain operations.
Sandra’s extensive background includes consulting for public agencies and nonprofits, serving as City Treasurer/Finance Director for Saratoga and El Cerrito and as Chief Financial Officer for the Spanish Speaking Unity Council. She is an expert in technology automation, successfully transitioning organizations to modern ERP systems to enhance efficiency and accountability.
Sandra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and completed the Leadership and Transformation Program at Stanford University’s Center for Professional Development, Project Management studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Center for Leadership & Transformation Program in Santa Clara County.
Timothy Trickett-Robles, CHIEF OF STAFF
Tim joined Fred Finch in 2009 and brings over 20 years of experience in business management, development, training, and systems implementation. He leads the agency’s Information Technology, Data, and Strategic Planning efforts, overseeing the quality, accuracy, and integrity of both participant and operational data reporting.
As the organization’s longstanding Privacy and Security Officer, Tim also directs agency-wide cybersecurity and confidentiality practices to safeguard sensitive participant information. His broad operational perspective allows him to serve as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and contribute to cross-functional decision-making at the executive level.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is deeply committed to advancing access to high-quality mental health care. His combination of technical expertise and clinical awareness enables him to support direct care staff while driving continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.
Nicole Austin, LMFT, DIVISION DIRECTOR, FAMILY-BASED SERVICES
Nicole Austin is a visionary, results-driven leader in behavioral health with over a decade of experience designing and scaling transformative mental health programs. She brings a proven track record of impact through strategic innovation, operational excellence, and values-driven leadership.
Grounded in the belief that mental wellness is sacred, Nicole champions care models that affirm the dignity of every individual—regardless of background or circumstance. Her leadership blends strategic foresight with a moral imperative: to empower mental health providers, uplift communities, and reimagine mental health systems as spaces of healing, equity, and hope.
At the core of Nicole’s mission is a guiding truth: access to high-quality mental health care is not a privilege—it is a divine right. This conviction drives her work to build systems that are not only effective, but deeply compassionate and rooted in justice.
Cristobal Hernandez,Psy.D, MBA, MAOB, SENIOR DIRECTOR
Dr. Cristobal Hernandez, Psy.D., has joined Fred Finch CARES as the new Senior Director for Enhanced Care Management (ECM), where he will oversee programming across regions.
With over 20 years of dedication to the behavioral health sector, his most recent role was serving as the Director of Behavioral Health and Social Services at a Federally Qualified Health Center. Throughout his career, Cristobal has demonstrated leadership in a diverse range of behavioral health and social services programs, including children's behavioral health clinics, adult programs, substance use disorder (SUD) programs, crisis services, FSP programs, and ECM programs. His experience extends to program oversight in both non-profit and county behavioral health sectors. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Cristobal enjoys working with a wide variety of populations.
Cristobal holds a Master’s and Doctorate in Organizational Development from Alliant International University, along with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
