Making a Difference Together: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Fred Finch

At Fred Finch, we know that community support transforms lives. This month, volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints brought that support to our Oakland campus, rolling up their sleeves to make an immediate and visible impact for the youth and families we serve.

Painting of a new calming and testing room: Volunteers refreshed the walls with a new coat of paint, brightening common areas and creating a more welcoming environment for our participants.

Car Detailing Project: They also cleaned and detailed all of our agency vehicles, ensuring they are ready for safe and reliable transportation to school, appointments, and activities.

These efforts go far beyond paint and soap. A fresh coat of paint can transform a living space into one of pride and comfort, while clean, well-maintained vehicles help our participants access essential resources and opportunities. Together, these contributions strengthen both the physical environment and the overall well-being of those we serve.

We are deeply grateful to these volunteers for giving their time, energy, and care to Fred Finch. Their work is a powerful reminder of the difference community members can make when they come together in service.
