Training Description
System involved Transition Age Youth (TAY) who are women of color face many challenges in the workplace related to hiring, promotions, sexual harassment, and many other challenges. It’s crucial for system involved transitional age women of color to be prepared for challenges they may encounter. This training will provide strategies to address these challenges and help equip transitional age women for what they will encounter in order to improve long term outcomes for system involved youth.
Learning Objectives
1. Participants will be able to identify at least 1 barrier system involved transitional age women of color experience in the workplace
2. Participants will be able to identify at least 1 strategy to support system involved transitional age women of color experiencing setbacks, discrimination, etc. in the workplace
3. Participants will be able to identity at least 1 strategy to support system involved transitional age women of color who are experiencing sexual harassment in the workplace
