SERVICES - SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
Fred Finch Youth Center (FFYC) offers services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Solano Counties.
FFYC provides professional, culturally-competent, individualized mental health and social services based on the strengths and hopes of each person and family. The goal is always to support the journey to a healthy, productive life in the community.
The agency’s headquarters are in Oakland, California. Our spacious campus provides indoor and outdoor areas that support services including:
- Short-term crisis and respite care for developmentally delayed youth
- Long-term residential treatment, educational and mental health services for youth with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities
- Housing and social services for young adults transitioning from foster care
- A Training Institute that provides state-of-the-art instruction for our staff and community partners
Outpatient Community Services are provided to individuals in their homes, communities, and schools.
- Through partnerships with school districts, FFYC provides therapists who work in the classroom setting or in the classroom. They provide therapeutic services that enhance educational outcomes for students who need extra support. See School Services for more information.
- In Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Solano counties a variety of outpatient treatment programs provide innovative services including:
- Wraparound Services
- Full Service Partnerships
- Therapeutic Behavior Services
- In-home Services
- In Alameda County we offer housing programs for young adults who are mentally ill or at imminent risk of homelessness. These programs provide supportive services to assist young adults to live independently and successfully in their community.
