CONTROLLER

Job description
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller
manages the Agency’s accounting function, and is responsible for financial
reporting, monthly closing process, G/L, A/R, A/P. This position is also
responsible for establishing accounting policies, procedures and controls to
ensure that all financial transactions are recorded and documented in accordance
with GAAP.

The TBS
Worker for Alameda TBS is responsible for direct service to assigned clients,
documentation of services, county collaboration, participating in group,
individual supervision, and monthly trainings. Therapeutic Behavioral Services
is a one to one behavioral intervention program serving children and youth whose
behavior puts them at risk of a hospitalization or a higher level of care, or
who are in transition from a higher level of care to a lower level of care. A
one-on-one TBS Clinician works on-site with the child wherever s/he lives - with
his or her parents, in a foster home, or at a group home - to create positive
changes in behavior. The TBS Clinician uses creative behavioral interventions
with the clients that are strength based, developmentally age and culturally
appropriate, and solution-focused. The TBS Clinician then has the
parent/caregiver practice the interventions with support from the TBS Clinician
to ensure that the changes can continue after our services end. Our clients all
already have a primary therapist who works ongoing with the client while we
provide services. Clients are age 5 through 21 and have serious psychiatric
challenges. We do not provide physical restraint in this program. Worker must be
able to asses and provide de-escalation counseling as needed.

Psychiatric Consultant needed for 12
hours a week to oversee: Medication support services, provide diagnostic
consultation, attend treatment reviews, prescribe psychotropic medication and
provide Medi-Cal documentation for a Specialized Residential Treatment Program.
Our Residents are adolescents with Mental Health Disorders and Developmental
Disabilities who are participating in residential treatment to achieve the
behavioral skills needed to return to home or become integrated back into the
community. You will be working in a treatment team consisting of a Nurse, two

Description
The Behavior Intervention Specialist is responsible to the Site Supervisor of
School- Based Services and for proactive crisis intervention for the program.
This position is also responsible for providing assistance to staff such as
training of behavioral intervention techniques, program development such as
collaboration of school personnel, documentation and providing efficient
tracking systems, participating in-service trainings as needed, and for
providing on-call back-up coverage as needed in program.
EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST - Vocational Services
1. Experience with adolescents and/or
young adults required.
2. Experience with adolescents with Special Needs in a treatment/milieu mental
health enriched program preferred.

Under the supervision of the Vocational Director, the Employment Specialist
facilitates work-based vocational and other transitional activities, including
formal and situational assessment and evaluation of adolescents with Special
Needs. The Employment Specialist responds to the school based, job training,
task analysis, and supervision needs for Emotionally Disturbed and Dually
Diagnosed youth, developing strategies leading to employment success in a milieu
environment. Specifically, the Employment Specialist will develop on- and
off-campus jobs that are developmentally appropriate for each student while
using students’ stated and assessed interests to guide the process.
Additionally, the Employment Specialist will network and collaborate with
community-based businesses and agencies in order to develop job and internship
placements.
RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR - One full time and relief counselors
1. BA in social science discipline
with 2 years work experience with youth preferred. AA with 4 years experience
acceptable.
2. Ability to relate on a non-judgmental, supportive basis to youth with a wide
range of problem areas.
3. Ability to handle emergency crisis situations in a timely manner.
4. Knowledge of, and ability to maintain, professional boundaries and
confidentiality.
5. Basic knowledge of community resources required.
6. Ability to work assigned shift, as well as overtime when necessary to cover,
or be a relief worker.

Job
Description
The Residential Counselor will provide support for the Turning Point
transitional housing program residents. This employee will also assist in
planning and holding support groups and workshops designed to teach clients
skills to modify those behaviors that have led to homelessness. She/he will
participate in the treatment planning process for all house residents.
