  • A chance to learn from the youth and families that teach us every day

For the educational institution we provide:

  • The supervision, reports and requirements of the internship
  • Guidance to ensure learning experiences critical to future practice
  • Effective levels of supervision, support and mentoring by professional staff

For the community we provide:

  • Experiences that provide students with knowledge about the public health and human service field
  • Opportunities for professionals to learn from youth and families dealing with complex challenges

Clinical internships are designed for students completing degrees that require a license for clinical work. The number of interns varies among FFYC service sites, depending on the number of licensed staff.

Leadership internships are designed for students completing degrees in business, communications, research, library science or history. The number of internships and the area of interest vary with the needs of the agency and the requirements of the school.
